In September, Jen and Scott traveled to the Bauerfeind Headquarters in Zeulenroda-Triebes, Germany. The company was founded in the early 1920s in Zeulenroda in eastern Thuringia, the place where at one time almost every compression stocking worldwide was being produced. Due to the Russian invasion in 1949, Bauerfeind was forced to move the company to western Germany, first to Darmstadt-Eberstadt and then to Kempen. Immediately after the German reunification in 1991, the Bauerfeind company was moved back to its roots in Zeulenroda.

Bauerfeind is one of the leading companies in medical research; their aim is to consistently develop innovative products that are both functionally better and therapeutically more effective than conventional products. Bauerfeind Train® supports are designed to restore mobility and improve performance. They are made from an anatomically knitted breathable fabric with visco-elastic inserts. As the joint moves, they provide a therapeutic massage and support. This stimulates the circulation and promotes the healing process. Whether you are a professional athlete or someone seeking a more active and healthy lifestyle, you will enjoy the quality, excellent wearing comfort, and therapeutic effectiveness of the Bauerfeind Train® range.
