At Soles In Motion, we are always upgrading our skills and knowledge by attending workshops and training programs.

During the month of November, Scott was chosen to travel to the DJO Global headquarters in San Diego, California. The company was founded in 1978 in a small garage in Carlsbad, California just making simple sleeves of sewn-together neoprene. In 1980 business really began to grow for the company when they introduced an off-the-shelf rigid knee support device called the 4-point knee brace. Timing for this brace couldn’t have been better as the modern era of sports medicine was in its infancy and devices like this were suddenly in high demand. DJO Global now employs over five thousand people working in more then a dozen countries in the world and has now turned into a billion dollar company. DJO Global is a leading orthopedic company and their new aim is to assist in the healing and wellness through the benefit of natural motion. Their new approach “Motion is Medicine” is their belief that physical activity is the key to healthier lives, better outcomes and improves economics for all.
