GenuTrain
GenuTrain ® is a comfortable, lightweight support designed to help relieve knee pain and swelling during sports or everyday activities. An incorporated silicone insert leaves the patella pressure-free, and provides intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint. This helps increase circulation, aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema. Three-dimensional knit with covered patella avoids window edema, yet keeps pressure off the knee cap. This support promotes proprioception (balance), giving heightened sensory awareness in the knee for increased joint stabilization. Graduated compression at the edges prevents constriction of circulation and makes for a more comfortable fit. Medial and lateral spiral stays keep the support from rolling or bunching. The GenuTrain ® is designed for superior comfort, and is anatomically knitted for a precise fit. The fabric is breathable, regulates moisture and is gentle on sensitive skin. The active knit in the hollow of the knee is very fine to avoid irritation. A built-in donning aid allows easy pull-on application with just two fingers. When walking or running with the GenuTrain, the muscular contractions cause the pressure to rise and fall, thereby resulting in an effect which is similar to an intermittent compression massage. This stimulates the metabolism and helps to dispel swelling and hematomas more quickly. The support also stimulates receptors in the soft tissue of the knee and on the skin. The surrounding musculature is also activated and effective, long-term stabilization for the joint is achieved.
GenuTrain A3
GenuTrain A3 centers the patella during joint movement and stimulates the skin receptors and nerve endings in the muscle-tendon transition around the knee to enhance proprioception and decrease pain and swelling. This knee support features two stays to prevent patella migration. The GenuTrain A3 is anatomically knitted support incorporating knobbed silicone insert surrounding the patella. During activity the insert counteracts patellar misalignment and provides a friction massage on the important receptor zones of the knee joint reducing pain and swelling. The special, non-irritative weave in the critical area behind the knee prevents bunching and pinching. Silicone banding at top of support and medial/lateral stays guard against migration.
GenuTrain P3
The Bauerfeind Genutrain P3 knee support has an improved, more breathable fabric knit support incorporating a contoured silicone insert surrounding the patella. An integrated guide keeps the patella from shifting out of place. During activity the insert not only counteracts patellar malalignment but provides intermittent compression for the reduction of swelling and edema. Promotes proprioception, thus heightening sensory awareness in the knee for increased joint stabilization. Innovative trapezoidal stitch in the popliteal region prevents bunching and pinching. Anatomical knit with compression graduated toward the edges prevents constriction of circulation and rolling of the support. Silicone banding at top of support and medial/lateral stays guard against migration. Lightweight, breathable knit will not retain heat and is completely machine washable. This brace consists of four stays to prevent patella migration.
GenuTrain S
The Bauerfeind GenuTrain S knee brace has been constructed with medial/lateral hinges in a modern, thermoplastic material. It is very stable, light and reshapable. This makes the GenuTrain S ideal for treating knee sprains and recovering from knee surgery and ACL injuries. Direct contact between the non-elastic straps and the anatomically contoured joint bars of the GenuTrain S assures a good fit. The GenuTrain S is made of a soft knitted breathable material that provides extreme comfort while a circular viscoelastic shaped insert provides additional knee support. The GenuTrain S also boasts new lateral tightening loops that facilitate a better fit. Features a pull-up sleeve application with straps for support. The GenuTrain S knee support is available for the left and right knee.
